There are various symptoms that often accompany the suffering of acne by any average person. The most common form of the skin infection is "acne vulgaris", or as you might like to think of it in layman’s terms, "common acne." It is the simple type that you come across most of the time with lesions, reddening, and small bumps all over the face. It rarely extends beyond the face too, but hey, you know that there have got to be a few freak situations as well.
Not all, but most acnes are caused by the development of a certain bacteria, known by the name, propionibacterium acne. This grows underneath the top layer of your skin when you allow dead skin cells to stay without being washed off. Other causes of acnes are exposure to unfavorable weather conditions, and perhaps any number of allergens in the environment. Curing the skin infection will therefore have to come with the approach of dealing with the causes.
Dirt, dust and secretions underneath your skin’s surface allows for the growth of yeast and bacteria. This is not a good thing because, in response to the bacterial and yeast growth, your skin inadvertently gets inflamed. The visible lesion that is produced by this incidence is what you get to call acne.
It is possible to develop acne as an allergic reaction to some substance in your environment. The body has all kinds of ways by which it compensates for threats, and I daresay some of them are not things that we readily understand. An outbreak of acne is not particularly a common response but it has been observed. I know folks who break out in pimples and zits once they set their tongues upon peanuts, walnuts, and even grease. What do you know; it could very well be something else.
