Menopause

You should know that if you are a woman in your thirties or forties, you are bound to experience the menopausal stage; what menopause is all about and what to expect from it, you can easily sail through without much worries or discomfort.

Menopause is a natural phenomenon that is usually a result of aging and involves the slowing down and eventual halt of a woman’s reproductive system…… the process is characterized by a variety of symptoms such as hair loss, weight gain, fatigue, insomnia and loss of sex drive.

There are tests that can be conducted to determine things like when menopause is likely to set in and what treatment will best suite accompanying symptoms.

You need to know that menopause is not a death sentence; it is a process that has been ordained by nature and should be part of your decision to ‘age gracefully’.

Menopause is a stage that can be brought on earlier than expected in a woman by a multitude of factors such as stress, years of bad diet, alcohol, lack of a consistent work out regime, and excessive consumption of caffeine. However, its onslaught can be made much more bearable by the reversal of these bad habits.
